Under the Abbasids, A trading network was created which helped to spread religion, culture, and technology through the different people of the empire. New things like, partnerships, the use of credit, and banks to exchange currency, were made to handle the amount of trade. The making of such large trading networks made the nations inside the Islamic Empire very rich. No enemy was a threat to the Abbasid Empire. Therefore it became the best economy of its time. Because of law and order, the market operated without fear of the caravans being intercepted. That lead to several ways of doing business. you could either go to other countries in person to buy and sell products, or entrust goods to a traveler who would then sell them and buy others. |
